To Portugal and back

This section covers our move to Portugal, return and involvement in the national leadership of the Navigators’ student ministry.  Our intention in going to Portugal was to start a student ministry there, but it became evident that the students were at a time of breaking free from religion and they wanted nothing to do with us.  Our ministry was then to the religious, both in the Evangelical church and among the Jesuits.  We eventually needed to return for our daughter who has severe dyslexia.  We spent a year getting back on our feet before beginning a ministry of travelling around the UK in support of people who led student ministries.  In all of these areas of ministry our focus was to lift up Jesus and help people to develop a living faith in Him.
